S P A Z U K | Récidive

January 24th to February 7th, 2015

Since 2001, Steven Spazuk has developed and perfected a unique technique using soot and a candle flame as a paintbrush. With a variety of unusual tools, he "sculpts" the carbon deposits left on the paper to bring up the light. The resulting work is nothing short of remarkable. His most recent exhibition, "Convictions, and other interpretations", garnered international media attention. Articles about his work have been published in the United States, England, Italy, Spain and South America, among others.
